We'll fly to Xiamen, Fujian's most beautiful coastal city. Explore

the Golden Coast along Huandao Road and the sea viewing

platform of Yanwu Bridge, catch a distant view of Xiamen's

landmark — the Twin Towers, and check in at the popular Shapo-

wei.

After breakfast, we will visit Gulangyu Island, a World Cultural

Heritage site known as the Garden on the Sea. Tour Longtou

Road Commercial Street and admire the well-known cluster of

international-style architectures, and stop by the iconic Most

Beautiful Corner. Afterwards, we head to Yongding and check

into the top local hot spring hotel. You may fully relax and enjoy

the hot spring experience. Hot spring tickets and spa services

are complimentary. Please bring your own swimwear.

After breakfast, we will tour Chuxi Tulou Cluster, the most beauti-

ful and best-preserved original Hakka Tulou group (electric cart

service included). Visit Jiqing Building, Shanqing Building and

Shengqing Building, all part of the World Cultural Heritage.

Then we head to Dapu to tour the ancestral residence of Lee Kuan

Yew. Next, proceed to Meixian, the Hakka Capital of the World,

and visit the Hakka Museum. Note: If the museum is closed on

Mondays, we will visit Qianfo Pagoda instead.

Dinner will be served in a distinctive Hakka Round-Dragon House

in Meizhou, featuring authentic traditional Hakka big basin feast,

which was featured on A Bite of China Season 3. Complimentary

Hakka rice wine will be provided for tasting.

After breakfast, we head to Jieyang and visit Xixi Village, a filming

location of Love Letter to Grandma. Experience the idyllic charm

and nostalgia of this ancient village. The overseas remittance

letters carry decades of longing and waiting, and Shi Banqiao

Bridge witnesses the grandma’s yearning. We will treat you to

Rice-Free Cakes, the same snack featured in the movie.

Next, explore Xima Road, a historic and cultural street in Jieyang

Ancient Town, where Chinatown and Siam Inn were shot. Neatly

arranged arcades with Southeast Asian styles and bluestone

pavements bring back old memories.

We then proceed to Chaozhou, a time-honored ancient city, and

tour Longhu Ancient Village — one of Guangdong’s top ten most

beautiful millennial villages, which re-creates 90% of the Thai

street scenes seen in the movie.

After breakfast, we head to Chenghai to visit Former Residence of

Chen Cihong, reputed as the No.1 Overseas Chinese Mansion in

Lingnan and a filming location of Love Letter to Grandma. Here

you can enjoy Chaozhou Yingge Dance, a national intangible

cultural heritage.

Next, travel to Shantou, a renowned food capital. Explore the

arcade complex in the Old Town of Little Park: No.77 Haiping

Road restores the Siam South Cinema from the movie, and

Yufeng Remittance Office at No.3 Wan'an Street recreates the

classic scene of posting overseas remittance letters. We will also

visit the Overseas Remittance Museum (closed on Mondays).

Then return to Chaozhou. Tour the Ancient City of Chaozhou

(electric cart included): visit West Lake and its Mid-lake Pavilion,

Thai Buddhist Temple, Guangji Gate Tower and Paifang Street.

Taste tea and watch Chao Opera at a century-old teahouse, stroll

along the riverside promenade and get a distant view of Xiangzi

Bridge. In the evening, enjoy the ancient city light show

(cancelled in case of rain).

After breakfast, depart for Xiamen. You may visit Laoyuanzi Folk

Culture Park and watch Legend of Minnan, the world-class grand

show at your own expense. Then stroll along Zhongshan Road

Pedestrian Street, one of China's Top Ten Civilized Streets.

Xiamen-style crepes will be provided as a complimentary treat.

Later, head to the Sea Pearl Observation Tower to admire the

stunning night views of Xiamen.
