Today we will experience the most anticipated part of our trip:

the icebreaker cruise, the Aurora, one of Hokkaido's most famous winter experiences. The icebreaker will sail into the Okhotsk Sea's drift ice zone, breaking through thick ice to allow passengers to experience the magnificent drift ice scenery up close.

The Abashiri Prison Museum is a relocated and preserved replica of a real Meiji-era prison, fully showcasing the history of Hokkaido's development and making it a rare prison-themed museum in Japan.

Kita Kitsune Farm: Home to over 100 Hokkaido red foxes, this popular animal attraction allows visitors to observe the foxes running and playing in the snow up close.

Sounkyo Gorge: Located within Daisetsuzan National Park, this gorge features cliffs over 100 meters high on both sides, covered in snow in winter for a magnificent view.

Ryusei Falls: Named for its cascading water resembling shooting stars, this waterfall is listed as one of Japan's 100 most famous waterfalls. Finally, travel to Asahikawa and check into your hotel.

Asahikawa Zoo: One of Japan's most famous zoos, renowned for its "behavioral displays." The penguin walk is a popular activity in winter, offering plenty of fun. Lunch can be arranged at the zoo.

Shirobe Falls: An underground spring cascades down a rock face, creating a unique landscape resembling a white beard. It becomes even more enchanting when covered in snow and ice in winter.

Ningle Terrace: A cluster of fairytale-like wooden cabins nestled in the Furano forest. At night, the illuminated terraces create a Nordic fairytale atmosphere, making it a popular spot for photos in Hokkaido. Return to Sapporo.
